Club members and visitors may use the track and clubhouse facilities at any time subject to compliance with MMES standing rules that demand the following:
q The presence of at least two MMES club members when member[s] are running locomotives.
q The presence of at least one MMES member when a visitor[s] is running a locomotive.
q Evidence of a current boiler certificate in the case of steam locomotives [production of the certificate in the case of visitors].
Public running is undertaken throughout the year on Sunday afternoons from 11 am till 4 pm, weather conditions and availability of Society members permitting.
Wednesdays from mid morning to late afternoon throughout the year are devoted to maintenance and project work. However some public running on the 5inch/3½inch system may occur in late spring and summer during Wednesday afternoon and early evening, again weather conditions and availability of Society members permitting.
q Notwithstanding the foregoing it should be noted that MMES give no guarantee that public running will be undertaken on specific days or times.
q Interested visitors are most welcome to visit the Celyn Wood railway and review the Club facilities in the presence of a Society member.
