MMES has a permanent clubhouse and 5inch cum 3½ inch elevated railway track in Celyn Wood which is located within the grounds of the Welsh College of Horticulture at Northop, Flintshire [WCoH].
The College is situated about 1½ miles from the Connah’s Quay turn off on the A55 North Wales coastal trunk road. The Club’s geographical position provides easy and quick access for local residents in Mold, Connah’s Quay and Flint but also serves members resident in the Vale of Clwyd, Chester, Ellesmere Port and Wrexham. Visitors from outside the area will also be able to find the site easily.

Directions By Car: The Welsh College of Horticulture is signposted from the crossroads where the A5119 meets the B5126 at Traffic Lights in Northop Village. From Mold, take A5119 towards Flint, turn left at traffic lights. From East, take A55 towards Colwyn, turn left onto B5126, straight on at lights. From West, take A55 towards Chester, turn right onto A5119, turn right at lights. College is approx. ¼ mile from lights, turn right into garden centre entrance and follow train signs.
